The Central Jersey Woodworkers Association normally meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month (except for July and August) from 7:00PM to 10:00PM at the Old Brick Reformed Church on Route 520 in Marlboro NJ. We welcome new members and guests.

Membership

The Central Jersey Woodworkers Association is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization of woodworkers founded for the purpose of providing a resource to the community for the promotion of woodworking and woodworking education at all levels of experience, sharing of information about woodworking techniques, tools, and sources for supplies, and facilitating the exchange of ideas with fellow woodworkers.

We always welcome new members to our club.  As a member you will enjoy all of the benefits described above with the additonal perks found on our members only area; discounts for lumber, tools and hardware, access to our book and multimedia library, group builds, and educational seminars.

Made in Monmouth Event

Registration is now open for the 5th Annual Made in Monmouth, to be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Monmouth University from 10 a.m. to 4p.m

Please register as soon as possible by submitting the registration form found at this link http://co.monmouth.nj.us/vendorregistration.aspx  In order for your registration to be considered complete, you must submit a complete form, including a photo of your product.  Registration is on a first come, first served basis, so I would encourage you to complete your registration soon.

Space is limited.  We provide every vendor with one 6’ table and one chair.  (If you need additional chairs, they are readily available.) There is limited access to electricity.  If you need electric for a device that is integral to your product, such as refrigerator or coffee pot or similar, we will do our best to accommodate you.  You will need to bring your own heavy duty extension cord.  We cannot accommodate requests for electric for lighting.  

As a reminder, there is no charge for vendors or the public for this event. To be eligible to be a Made in Monmouth vendor, you must produce a consumer product in Monmouth County.  If you need additional information, or clarification, please call 732-431-7470 or email susan.folta@co.monmouth.nj.us.

 

Even though the form connected to seems to be directed at business, amateur hobbyists are welcomed as well. They can speak to their accountant if their sales exceed a certain amount for direction. Participants must provide pictures of present or past works or offerings. In addition, mention that they would appreciate being put together with other  CJWA members.
